AHA President Ian Rhee Visits Solana Ranch Elementary School Student Council

May 12, 2026 | San Diego, California

Angel Hair Association (AHA) President and Founder Ian Rhee visited Solana Ranch Elementary School on May 12 to meet with members of the school’s Student Council and introduce AHA’s mission.

During the meeting, Ian spoke with students about children experiencing medical hair loss, why hair donation matters, and how young people can make a meaningful difference through hair donation.

He also introduced AHA’s Hair Donor Support Program, which helps donors during the often lengthy process of growing their hair for donation. AHA provides information, encouragement, and hair-care support to help donors stay motivated and maintain healthy hair until they are ready to donate.

Ian emphasized that hair donation is always completely voluntary. Students who are interested are encouraged to discuss the idea with their parents or guardians before beginning their donation journey.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore how AHA and the Student Council might work together in the future to raise awareness of hair donation in a positive and age-appropriate way.

AHA thanks Solana Ranch Elementary School and its Student Council for welcoming Ian and giving AHA the opportunity to share its mission with young community members.
